This is a small script, designed to show you what is on TV, specifically designed for customers of a specific satellite TV provider, of which I am one. Running the script outputs something like this:
abe@thevwbeetle:~$ ./directv.py -l -c 310
09:00 PM - 09:30 PM : Cops
09:30 PM - 10:00 PM : Cops
10:00 PM - 10:30 PM : Campus PD
10:30 PM - 11:00 PM : Cheaters
Very useful!

I do recommend Sitemeter.com's service, that being said, I felt it was no longer needed. Those little images at the bottom of each page are now gone!

That is all.

The downtime should be minimal ;)

I could go through and rewrite the entire thing in python, make it 10x better. I just don't have the time right now. Once I get GatewayCPU.org up and running, I will probably turn my attention to this place. I'll make the pages load things like navigation bars, headers, footers, etc. All automatically, so I could easily fix and update the site. It is something I need to get around to doing.
I'll put it on the list.

All backend scripts are python, however all the main pages are still PHP. But yea, that is alot of work to switch em all over to python.

In an effort to give the Internet a bit more of random people's opinions, I will be creating a page called "Games Which Surpass the Definition of Quality", it will be a list of all video games which I feel for any reason, to be exceptional. And a small paragraph about the game.
A second page I hope to create will be "Games for Linux", a page about all the good native video games for linux, a small tutorial on how to run them, and a general idea of which ones are good and which are not. This page was inspired by OpenPandora.org, because as the release of the Pandora draws closer, I get more and more obsessed, and I hope to have many good games already set up which I can just move to the Pandora and begin playing.
Both of these pages would be fun to create, but the chance of them happening any time soon is kind of slim, but with any luck they will be up by the time I eat my Tactical Canned Bacon (check previous post).

This is my plan, I will purchase a can of tactical canned bacon, http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/wacky-candy/c399/, I will leave it on a shelf, then in 10 years, I will eat it. It will be kind of like a food time capsule. I'll let you know how it works out, in ten years.
